It’s a love story…..
During the Christmas of 2016, whilst sitting around a campfire surrounded by the sheer beauty of the Matakitaki Valley, Hawkes Bay native Rob Hunt fell in love.
On returning to North Canterbury where he had been based for the last seven years flying helicopters, he realised he could not live without the beauty who had stolen his heart, so he devised a plan to return to her.
As with all new loves, there were many sleepless nights and strained moments but his plan finally came into fruition and in 2017 he packed up his life (Wife, Children and animals) and headed back to the place where the love affair began.
Rob and his wife Angela now wish to share the breath taking beauty of Murchison and her surrounding areas with the rest of the world. Are you ready to fall in love?
Rob is an experienced commercial pilot who holds a B Category Instructor rating and an Airline Flight Examiner rating. He has flown most common helicopter types in New Zealand and has used them extensively on a large variety of commercial operations.
Ange has been involved in aviation for just about as long as Rob. Ange is extremely passionate about her role in the business and is keen to help out in any way she can.
Graeme has always had a passion for aviation and when the opportunity arose to become involved in the Murchison Heli Tours team he couldn’t refuse.
