Follow the jagged Blue Cliffs ridge to the beautiful Lake Matiri. From there you will fly towards the uniquely formed Mt Owen.
Land amongst Mount Owens amazing rock formations for a fantastic photo opportunity and take in the panoramic views of Kahurangi National Park and it’s surrounding areas.
Mount Owen is famous for having New Zealand’s longest caving systems and featuring in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Fellowship of the Ring.
What To Bring
Wear sensible comfortable covered shoes and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We fly in an alpine environment.
Remember to bring your camera, sunscreen, sunglasses and insect repellent.
